From the Personal Development Module of Training Ziggets. The problem with business is that oftentimes it gets too serious. We need to lighten up! We need to have more FUN! Have you had a good laugh today? Humor and laughter are important. They can impact your life in three different ways:

  1. Humor can increase productivity. In a Robert Half International study of 100 vice presidents, 84% said employees with a sense of humor do a better job!
  2. Another study of 737 CEO's indicated that 98% would hire a person with a good sense of humor over someone with no (or little) sense of humor.
  3. Customers buy from people they like. Using humor can help your customers feel more kindly toward you and your business.

Laughter is the shortest distance between two people. So go ahead and laugh. Have some fun. Enjoy the day.
